Horse Sense

‎"Flaming enthusiasm, backed up by horse sense and persistence, is the quality that most frequently makes for success." -- Dale Carnegie

So to be successful, one needs some horse sense. What exactly does this mean? It means looking beyond yourself to maximize your full potential through others.

I guess you can say that you cannot get anywhere worthy without other people helping you along the way.

I am learning I can't do it on my own.
Salve Maria... ayudame porque me muero! Me ahogo!

  1. Et victoriam habeas! Id est, "And may you have victory!" :)

Isn't it interesting how much like atoms we are? All particles of matter are exactly the same at their constituent level. It is their relationship to each other, the larger formations they make, that differentiates a granule of salt from a whale. Like particles, we're not very notable in isolation; we accomplish our larger formations by our relationships with each other.

Relationships define success, regardless of ability. I think that's what you're trying to say, huh?

  2. Yes. We can win or lose in life only with people's help. And people only help if they like you. sigh.

    I don't have horse sense.
